This Heirloom®Coffee blend was inspired by a dream of the Vashon Island Coffee Roasterie' founder, Eva, in which the Orcas came to her with a plea to help them survive. As unique as each Orca's saddle patch, this post blend contains a combination of beans roasted separately and then blended to create a colorful and harmonious blend. A portion of the sales of each bag is donated to the Vashon Hydrophone Project for Puget Sound- dedicated to non-invasive monitoring research of endangered resident orcas and transient pods, which The American Cetacean Society sponsors. Award-winning Tlingit artist, Odin Lonning, donated artwork for the label.
